Nadeem-Shravan was an iconic and immensely popular Indian music director duo consisting of Nadeem Saifi and Shravan Rathod, who defined the romantic sound of Bollywood music throughout the 1990s. Active from the 1970s until Shravan Rathod's passing in 2021, the duo achieved legendary status for their melodic, orchestrally rich, and deeply emotional compositions.
They rose to unprecedented superstardom with their pathbreaking, historic soundtrack for Mahesh Bhatt's musical romance Aashiqui (1990), which became the best-selling Bollywood soundtrack of all time and revolutionized the cassette industry in India. Following this landmark success, Nadeem-Shravan became the undisputed musical kings of the decade, crafting blockbuster albums for iconic films such as Saajan, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, Sadak, Deewana, Pardes, Raja Hindustani, and Dhadkan.
